Karen graduated from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law with a J.D. degree in 2022. She received a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws while she was in China. During law school, Karen worked at Downtown Legal Services, the University of Toronto’s legal clinic, as a family law caseworker. She also volunteered at the Barbra Schlifer Commemorative Clinic, Rise Women’s Legal Centre, and Pro Bono Student Canada. Karen is a member of Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers. Karen is fluent in Mandarin.
